The UN has classified "Modern Contraceptive Methods" as including access to: steralization (male and female), pills, injectables, implants, IUD, male condoms, and vaginal barriers and others.
This is in contrast to what the UN calls "Traditional Contraceptive Methods" that includes: rhythm, withdrawl and other methods.
