This map shows the HDI of the world. I collected the data from Gap minder from 2013. It shows that the more developed countries i.e. Britain, Germany and the USA have a higher HDI than the developing world such as central Africa and India and the Philippines. What surprises me is that South America has quite a high HDI compared to that it is one of the developing areas of the world i.e. Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay
