This describes the age of sexual consent in countries throughout the world. This is for heterosexual sex only, and the ages refer to the age of consent for females, not for males. Several countries (the United States, Mexico, Australia, India and Micronesia) have different ages of consent in different subdivisions, but as this map currently only divides by country, I have used the most common age of consent in these countries.
