This is the Age of Majority throughout the world, which is the age at which a person legally becomes an adult. In a few countries, the age of majority for males differs from that for females; in those cases, the age for males is used. A few countries, such as the United States and United Kingdom, have different ages of majority in a few subdivisions (ex: 19 in Nebraska, 16 in Scotland). As this map can currently only divide by country, I have used the most common age of majority for those countries.
