This percentage indicates the total freshwater withdrawn by a country relating to the actual total renewable water resources. The total renewable water resources is the total volume of water available of a country, taking into consideration both internal and external amounts of renewable water. Through this parameter, we can analyse the pressure on the renewable water resources of a country/region.
